Gore… Is such a terrible aesthetic for a blog …. Like…. Finding photos of REAL ppl murdered or in a n accident or something and instead of being like ….. Omg that’s horrible what happened…. Ur just like… Oh cool a dead person!! This will look good on my blog!!

I respectfully disagree. I find murder victims/gore beautiful. This is because another human being choose to cause them harm. And even the darkest depths of humanity are still a part of what it is to be human. I simply see it as an extreme part of the human condition. Also, knowing that humans are capable of such terrible things makes kindness and good acts seem that much better. I also feel it isn’t disrespectful because it’s, in a way, informing people about the atrocities others are able to commit. Are pictures of holocaust victims disrespectful to the victims? No. It’s just fact that that happened. It’s not some people’s cup of tea. But some of us like the juxtaposition found in gore compared to the more often seen kindness in the world. Some like to be reminded of the terribleness to keep ourselves in check. It’s essentially visual metal music. Either you get it and you like it or you don’t. But please don’t hate on it. Some of us see it through a different lens.
