Before you start complimenting and bowing down to all the white people on tumblr speaking out against racism, ask yourself if you’re actually following or listening to a person of color or if you’re only listening when white people decide to talk

I’m adding @zobothehob0’s tags because this is what I’ve been thinking about a lot lately.

Just adding on that being an ally shouldn’t be applauded. It’s basic human decency and it should be expected.
