I did this last year and inexplicably turned out to be eligible for Medicaid in WV, which I STILL have. Absolute and total lifechanger that’s letting me go to school instead of having to work full time.
I’m SCREAMING some Dude came into my work and I work in a shop so obviously I gotta help him?? And he starts a conversation so I gotta talk right?? And I can’t for the life of me remember how this happened but I said the word ‘dudebro’
And then he looks at me and goes, 100% seriously
“Um, you shouldn’t say that. You know that dudebro is a slur, right?”
This morning, an active shooter at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Squirrel Hill murdered at least seven people, possibly more. Two responding officers have been wounded as well. The killer has not yet been apprehended and police are asking anyone in the immediate area to stay indoors.
Please keep Pittsburgh’s Jewish population in your thoughts, and continue to demand stronger action to keep weapons out of the hands of those who would commit hate crimes.

I was kicked out of my home a few months ago and forced onto the streets. My family finally allowed me to come back into the home but does not allow me to eat and charges me a high rent even though I am jobless. I’m currently doing everything I can to make ends meet but it’s just not working and I’m in such a dire situation I am going days and days without eating. I can barely afford their rent each month and I’m terrified of ending up in a shelter or on the streets again I live in such a dangerous area.
