one of the most common tactics of the right isn’t to change who you vote for. they know that’s unlikely to work. it’s to do everything in their power to make sure you decide to stay home.
republican turnout wasn’t actually that high in the last election. democratic turnout was just fucking abysmal, because of attitudes like this.
I just remembered l got a C in creative writing back at community college bc the professor wouldn’t actually let us write anything fun so l half assed all the assignments. Apparently lots of creative writing professors are like this. You have the power to let your students write about any fucking thing but won’t let them? Wack

Yeah, all of them pretty much look down on genre fiction because it’s “not character driven” which is a crock of shit because all good writing is character driven. They really are just mad that Fantasy and sci-fi writers can pay their bills but their short story collection of why they hate all the women in their life flopped.

Teresa Klein was in a new york bodega buying 2 bags of kitty litter when the 9 year old walked by. Klein claimed the boy sexually assaulted her by grabbing her ass, and called the cops.
the cops viewed the bodega cameras and saw the 9 year old was wearing a bulky backpack and brushed her as he passed by. But Klein turned around and started screaming at the mother and the 9 year old, and people in the bodega started filming her yelling and calling the cops. Other customers can be heard in the footage confronting Klein, with one woman telling her, “Nobody wants to touch your flat ass.”

this is a huge part of art development!! so many people are afraid of being accused of “tracing” even in their unpublished practice that they never ever do it. DO IT, just don’t claim it as your own or post it if you’re uncomfortable?? Getting the hang of anatomy is so much easier when you trace at the start, and then move on to using reference images. Once you trace a hand enough times, you understand how it’s supposed to curve or bend or flex in the reference photos. I have like 4 folders full of anatomy studies that I’ve done by tracing, and it helps a ton with getting out of same body type/same face syndrome!!

They look so proud of themselves. I’m actually embarrassed for them. These are adults in charge of children, and they’ve lowered themselves to taking selfies with property they’ve stolen from the young and defenseless.
