Gore… Is such a terrible aesthetic for a blog …. Like…. Finding photos of REAL ppl murdered or in a n accident or something and instead of being like ….. Omg that’s horrible what happened…. Ur just like… Oh cool a dead person!! This will look good on my blog!!
Like…. It’s just disrespectful to the actual real ppl in those photos who are dead….. You kno???
I respectfully disagree. I find murder victims/gore beautiful. This is because another human being choose to cause them harm. And even the darkest depths of humanity are still a part of what it is to be human. I simply see it as an extreme part of the human condition. Also, knowing that humans are capable of such terrible things makes kindness and good acts seem that much better. I also feel it isn’t disrespectful because it’s, in a way, informing people about the atrocities others are able to commit. Are pictures of holocaust victims disrespectful to the victims? No. It’s just fact that that happened. It’s not some people’s cup of tea. But some of us like the juxtaposition found in gore compared to the more often seen kindness in the world. Some like to be reminded of the terribleness to keep ourselves in check. It’s essentially visual metal music. Either you get it and you like it or you don’t. But please don’t hate on it. Some of us see it through a different lens.
“you know i had to do it to em” is like almost two years old at this point and it still hasnt gotten old, other memes just die but “you know i had to do it to em” remains so iconic that i cant even look at a picture of a sidewalk without expecting the caption or without thinking “he could’ve done it to them here but he chose not to”
Listen does anyone else remember that episode of Scooby Do where theyre talking about how thick the fog was and one of them pulled out a knife and cut a circle in the fog and then ate the fog circle. why is this so vivid.
it seems like a lot of people remember it vividly, but what’s weirder is that everyone i’ve seen remembers him cutting the fog and eating it, but he doesn’t eat it
why does everyone including myself, remember him eating the fog
OK so here’s the dealio
Apparently there IS a scene where Scooby Doo cuts a hole in the fog in the shape of a donut and takes a bite out of it (as evidenced by this picture)
But here’s the strangest thing: All I could find was one screen cap of this instance
I’ve searched all over google and youtube and couldn’t find the actual clip
It’s like someone went to great lengths to erase its existence off the web
All that remains of it is this one picture of the scene
We all remember it vividly, yet the scene itself has simply up and vanished
someone absolutely went to great lengths to stop this sensitive footage from being leaked onto the web of scoobert eatin fog, but heres the first video that’s suggested from the one above
just because you fed your kid and put a roof over their head doesn’t mean you succeeded as a parent lmao if your child cannot navigate adult life in a healthy way you have failed. if your child has such deep self worth issues thanks to decades of you only focusing on what they were doing wrong, you failed. if you tell your child that having money is more important than happiness and doing what you want in life, you’re a fucking failure.
Seriously. What on earth could a 3 yr old do to “warrant” a gun to the chest???
Apparently they were in the process of arresting her mother (whom they beat while handcuffed, naturally), also pointed the gun at the head of the child’s grandmother, and pointed the gun at her when she did what any toddler would do and started wailing. The incident gave her one of the worst cases of child PTSD the expert they assigned has ever seen and she’ll need therapy well into her adult years.
Anyone with even a passing knowledge of gun safety knows that you do not point a gun at anyone you are not willing to kill. So best case scenario these officers were grossly incompetent and worst case they were willing to kill a child for crying. This settlement is the least they deserve.
