Ok, let’s admit it. The Biggest Forced Hetero Relationship on tv ever had to be Kelsi and Ryan from High school musical.

ALRIGHT KIDDOS IT’S TIME TO LEARN A THING.

Fun fact: Lucas Grabeel (the actor who played Ryan) had specifically asked the director if Ryan could be a gay character. The director (Kenny Ortega) thought that it was a great idea, and they both went to Disney to ask if they could pepper in the fact that Ryan was gay, or include a shot of him with a boy, maybe in the background.

Disney didn’t give the okay on that, so they had to instead force him into a relationship with Kelsi, despite neither Lucas or Kenny wanting him to be a straight character.

In the outtakes from the third movie, Lucas actually grabs Zeke (not sure of the actor’s name, sorry!) and straight up makes out with him, simply to spite Disney. You can find that blooper on DVD versions.

(Keep in mind that Zeke was actually Sharpay’s love interest throughout the trilogy, starting with the after-credits scene of the first movie.)

So yeah. Ryan was actually a homosexual character, but he was forced into a straight relationship through Disney. Thanks, Disney.

CHAD

*whispers* I don’t dance

I love that even though Disney didnt give an okay on it, the director and crew members involved still managed to pepper or sneak in something that is gay.. *ahem* Ryan and Chad switching clothes after I Don’t Dance..

there’s really no heterosexual explanation for this!

Ryan and Kelsi were each other’s beards

@erin1355

A high school musical remake would only matter if it made Ryan gay and let him date Chad

No wonder he was my favourite

I’m pretty sure I picked up he wasn’t straight somehow and that just made me enjoy his character even more

taylor and kelsi would be the ultimate lesbian power couple and you can’t change my mind

Okay so as those of you who use PayPal are probably aware, PayPal has this new credit card type thing that they’re DESPERATE for people to use.

So I was buying something with Paypal and suddenly mid check out i noticed something that said I was signing up for their credit card, like not asking me if I want to buy it, one click away as if I was about to finish a transaction for it. I scrolled down and saw a “cancel transaction” button, pressed it, and suddenly I was back to my checkout screen.

PayPal now has a pop up screen that looks almost identical to their normal checkout screen, which will pop up while you’re mid-transaction and try to trick you into signing up for their credit card. Keep an eye out.

So i went on a date to a haunted house and made friends with the girls behind us. As we’re going through, one of them is holding my hand and a guy leaps out and separates us. I panic as my date is pulling me along, I reach back for her and grab her hand in a group of three other performers and start getting out if there. After a bit I look back to check on her and I discover I’m holding the hand of a six foot tall zombie creature and not a 5’2" girl.

Cue the most terrifying realization of my life.

I had basically kidnapped this performer from his section and abandoned the girl and her friend behind us.

Yes, I screamed. My date thought it was Hilarious.

Yes, we found the girls. Turns out when I grabbed the performers hand, he grabbed theirs so our group wouldn’t be separated. So there was just this zombie in the middle of our group line for like fifty feet

This is like a Scooby Doo bit I love it

men’s loyalty to violence is disturbing.  when women want a life free of abuse, assault, threat, & coercion, men’s first suggestion is “learn to fight back. learn to defend yourself”.  i don’t want my life to be a fight.  i don’t want to “prove myself” through inflicting pain & fear.
i don’t find violence and physical conflict fulfilling or self-actualising.

they’re exhausting & dehumanizing
